There were no significant differences (χ2-test for 5 strata, p = 0.63) in the crude rates of OP-positive BC across strata of CRP values determined prior to drawing the BC: 0 – 5 mg/L (normal range) 2/20 (10.0%), 6–50 mg/L 15/196 (7.7%), 51–100 mg/L 14/133 (10.6%), 101–200 mg/L 14/219 (6.4%), and CRP > 200 mg/L 14/141 (9.9%). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and breast cancer.
