We provide evidence on a gene-by-gene basis that biomarkers specifically associated with poor prognosis in ovarian cancer (elevated levels of RAB25, decreased levels of TUSC3) are dramatically elevated by RIα over expression in a cell line which may well be acting, in this case, as a stage-specific surrogate to a full blown ovarian cancer cell malignancy. Here, TUSC3 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
