In previous studies with pcDNA3.1-Mage-b vaccination, we found that the number of CD8 T cells significantly increased in the 4T1 tumours of Mage-b vaccinated mice compared with the control groups, despite very poor Mage-b-specific immune responses (IFNγ production) in the draining LNs (Gravekamp et al, 2008).
