ESR1 and neoplasm: Blamey [38] distinguished independent prognostic factors into those related to the extent of tumor progression (such as lymph node status and tumor size) and those related to a tumor's intrinsic aggressiveness (such as histological grade and mitotic rate) and found only that the prognostic roles of many markers, such as ER, progesterone receptor, and p53, were overshadowed by histological grade.
