From the 95% credible intervals of all the parasitic infections, only children heavily infected with S. mansoni had significantly lower mean Hb by an average of 0.51 g/dL, (95% credible interval: −0.94 to −0.10) and children infected with malaria had significantly lower mean Hb by an average of 0.16 g/dL, (95% credible interval: −0.32 to 0.01) compared with uninfected children, respectively.
