Almost all cases of myoepithelioma are strongly positive for Calponin, S-100 protein and the tumor cells also display varying degrees of immunoreactivity for cytokeratins, Glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), myosin, actin, vimentin and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA).
