DDIT3 and liposarcoma: In addition, we show that the carboxy terminal domain of the fusion protein FUS-DDIT3 is the part of the protein involved in the represion of the PPARγ2 promoter, which is congruent with the in vitro role of DDIT3 in adipocyte inhibition of 3T3-L1 cells [15] and liposarcoma development in a model using the HT1080 fibrosarcoma cell line [19].
