PPARγ is known to be expressed in avariety of cancer, and the treatment of these cancer cells with PPARγ ligands often induces celldifferentiation and apoptosis [47–51], andexerts antiproliferative effects on human colon cancer [59],breast cancer [47],pituitary adenomas [50],gastric cancer [60], and bladder cancer [61]. This evidence concerns the gene PPARG and urinary bladder cancer.
