BIRC5 and prostate carcinoma: Fuessel et al. [27] reported a phase I clinical trial for patients with prostate cancer in which they evaluated a vaccination with DCs loaded with five different prostate cancer-associated antigens (survivin, prostate-specific antigen [PSA], prostate-specific membrane antigen [PSMA], and prostein, transient receptor potential p8 [trp-p8]) and concluded that the concept was safe and feasible.
