CYP1A1 has been shown to be overexpressed in ovarian cancer cells and esophageal tumours, as opposed to normal cells and tissue [10-12], and CYP1B1 protein has been detected in a wide variety of tumours such as breast, brain, colon, and lung, whereas no protein was detected in corresponding normal samples [13]. The gene discussed is CYP1A1; the disease is neoplasm.
