The combination of DPYS or NSE1 hypermethylation showed a sensitivity of 80%, specificity of 95% and accuracy of 95% and the combination of NSE1 or SPOCK2 hypermethylation showed a sensitivity of 80%, specificity of 95% and accuracy of 96% in differentiating prostate cancer from normal (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene DPYS and prostate cancer.
