Compared to adjacent normal breast, all 6 genes except NKX2-5 showed higher methylation in breast cancer by t-test analysis (P<0.001 for DPYS and EGFR5 P = 0.01 for SLC16A12; P = 0.002 for TOX; P = 0.003 for GALR2) (Figure 3B, 4C and Table S4). The gene discussed is NKX2-5; the disease is breast cancer.
