Using in vitro migration assays (matrigel) and in vivo immunohistochemical staining, Senner et al. [7] have found, in a rat model, that CD24-positive gliomas are more aggressive than CD24 negative implants, but did not observe a greater migration rate of CD24-positive cells in matrigel assays, which is in concordance with our data. Here, CD24 is linked to central nervous system cancer.
