In tubular breast carcinomas (Figure 3, G and 3H), a less frequent variant of invasive breast carcinomas with a more favourable prognosis than invasive ductal breast carcinomas, nuclear and cytoplasmic FOXM1 expression (each IRS = 3) was weaker than in most invasive ductal breast carcinomas and stronger than in most normal breast tissues. The gene discussed is FOXM1; the disease is invasive breast carcinoma.
