It is well known that CD30 expression is not unique to Hodgkin lymphoma, as it is expressed in Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL)[19], mediastinal large B cell lymphoma [6,20], a subset of nodal diffuse large cell lymphoma[21], large cells in follicular lymphoma [22], nodal and cutaneous diffuse large B cell lymphoma [23-28], peripheral T cell lymphoma [29-32], embryonal carcinoma and other non-lymphoid cells and neoplasms [9,33-37]. The gene discussed is TNFRSF8; the disease is peripheral T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified.
