CDKN2A and neoplasm: Patients with p16 overexpression in their tumours had a significantly better 3-year disease-free survival probability with 93.3 vs 58.4% for p16-negative cases (Figure 2A) and a better 5-year disease-free survival rate, namely, 93% compared with 44% for patients with p16-negative tumours (hazard ratio=0.115; 95% CI=0.015–0.900; P=0.013).
