Immunohistochemical and histochemical stain quantification showed significant loss in vessels in scleroderma biopsies for Ulex europaeus lectin (p = 0.01), alkaline phosphatase (p = 0.002), VE cadherin (p = 0.008), and von Willebrand factor (p = 0.033) (Table 1 Section A).
