INS and depressive symptom measurement: Interestingly, post-hoc analyses revealed that both among the insulin treated as well as the insulin-naïve patients, a WHO-5 score indicative of clinical depression (< 28) was associated with a significantly higher score on the ITAS (52.9 vs. 48.0, p = 0.046 and 65.5 vs. 60.9, p = 0.14 respectively).
