Compared to the normal range obtained from normal donors, PBMC of AA-1 demonstrated elevated NK-T (CD3+/CD16+/CD56+) and NK (CD3-/CD16+/CD56+) cell populations (Table 2), suggesting a possibility that these innate immune effector cells may have contributed to the long term anti-tumor immune surveillance in this host.
