ANXA7 and prostate carcinoma: Annexin A7 expression was not detected in either normal colon or colorectal cancer, whereas annexin A7 has been proposed as a putative tumour suppressor gene in prostate cancer (Srivastava et al, 2001) and that high expression of annexin A7 is associated with poor prognosis in breast cancer (Srivastava et al, 2004), thus providing further evidence that there is tumour-type-specific regulation and expression of individual annexins.
