We next assessed the therapeutic profile of arthritic B6 mice to drugs commonly used to treat RA, including a corticosteroid (dexamethasone), a TNF-blocking biologic (anti-TNF mAb), a disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (methotrexate), and a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (indomethacin). The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is rheumatoid arthritis.
