SOCS2 and Crohn disease: Socs genes were found to be upregulated in other autoimmune inflammatory diseases, such as Socs3 in T cells from the colon mucosa of patients with Crohn's disease [31] and over-expression of SOCS1, SOCS2 and SOCS3 in the epidermis of psoriatic skin lesions, as well as in vitro stimulation with interferon-γ induced Socs1 and Socs3 expression in keratinocytes [32].
