MME and carcinoma: Especially, our recent reports focused on the involvement of cell surface aminopeptidases such as dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV/CD26) and neutral endopeptidase 24.11 (NEP/CD10) in the peritoneal progression of this carcinoma, and demonstrated that overexpression of DPPIV or NEP in highly invasive OVCA cells significantly decreased peritoneal dissemination and increased survival time in a mouse model [18,19].
