Furthermore, a number of studies have found APC to be localised apically with a range of independent antibodies directed to both the amino and carboxy terminus of APC in a variety of different cell lines and human and mouse tissues, including normal colon and colorectal tumours (Miyashiro et al, 1995; Senda et al, 1996; Midgley et al, 1997; Reinacher-Schick and Gumbiner 2001; Anderson et al, 2002; Umar et al, 2005) (see Table 1b). This evidence concerns the gene APC and colorectal neoplasm.
