To evaluate the subtypes of immunosuppressive cells associated with progression of cutaneous melanoma, we measured FOXp3, a transcription factor found in both suppressor and regulatory T lymphocytes (Suciu-Foca et al, 2005), and ILT3 and ILT4 that are associated with tolerogenic DCs (Manavalan et al, 2003). Here, LILRB2 is linked to cutaneous melanoma.
