Specifically, human basal-like tumors and murine Brca1+/-;p53+/-;IR, Brca1Co/Co;TgMMTV-Cre;p53+/-, TgMMTV-Wnt1, and some DMBA-induced tumors were characterized by the high expression of Laminin gamma 2, Keratins 5, 6B, 13, 14, 15, TRIM29, c-KIT and CRYAB (Figure 3b), the last of which is a human basal-like tumor marker possibly involved in resistance to chemotherapy [25].
