Although there was a significant difference between the methylation levels of GSTP1 and IGFBP3 within tumour samples (P<0.0001; 95% CI=88.17, 174.22), the median RMS of both genes was significantly higher in tumours than in histologically normal adjacent prostate or BPH (P<0.0001).
