RAF1 and neoplasm: Looking at a subgroup of 82 patients who were in stage IV at the time of tumor biopsy, again patients harbouring a B-RAF mutation showed a reduced overall survival compared to patients with wildtype B-RAF (p = 0.043, tissues, Figure 4A; p = 0.091, cell lines, Figure 4D), whereas patients holding an N-RAS mutation presented a favorable survival compared to patients without N-RAS mutation (p = 0.052, tissues, Figure 4B; p = 0.001, cell lines, Figure 4E).
