It is established that in CML patients, DC can not only present the leukemia specific BCR-ABL peptides, but also that such presentation can lead to generation of antigen-specific T-cells capable of inducing lysis of CD34 cells from CML but not control patients in an MHC-I dependent manner. This evidence concerns the gene CD34 and chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
