For instance, in the RB1CC1 gene, which was previously reported to undergo truncating mutations in breast tumors [37], our bidirectional sequence analysis revealed eight noncoding alterations, two synonymous alterations, and a single nonsynonymous change, namely R1514C (Miyata score of 3.06), which results in a positively charged residue shift to a hydrophilic residue. This evidence concerns the gene RB1CC1 and breast neoplasm.
