When restricted to hormone receptor positive cases, the reduction in breast cancer risk was slightly stronger for carriers of at least one variant C allele of COX-2 .8473 who ever used aspirin (OR = 0.6, 95% CI = 0.4 to 0.9; Table 4), although the modest heterogeneity in the ORs was not statistically significant. This evidence concerns the gene NR4A1 and breast cancer.
