We could identify the induction of several molecules playing key roles in the regulation of Th1 immune responses, such as CCR2 and CX3CR1 [26,27], which are also important in other autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis [28,29], and CD26, a surface-bound ectopeptidase expressed at high levels on Th1 differentiated T-cells [30,31]. The gene discussed is CCR2; the disease is autoimmune disease.
