Table 2 provides detailed information on gradual assessment of PRL-3 staining. 22 of 24 (91.7%) lymph node metastases showed a positive staining for PRL-3, whereas only 16 (66.7%) of the corresponding primary tumours were PRL-3 positive. This difference was statistically significant (P=0.033). Figure 4 shows samples of PRL-3-negative and -positive core specimens. This evidence concerns the gene PTP4A3 and neoplasm.
