Although a number of studies indicated that ING2 possesses tumour suppressive functions, such as inducing growth arrest, senescence, apoptosis and enhancing DNA repair (Nagashima et al, 2001; Gozani et al, 2003; Chin et al, 2005; Pedeux et al, 2005; Wang et al, 2006), there is limited information on ING2 expression level in human cancers. This evidence concerns the gene ING2 and neoplasm.
