Expression of leukotrienes and prostanoid receptors analyzed by quantitative real time PCR showed an up-regulation of CysLT1 and CysLT2 receptors in CRS patients compared to controls, but only CysLT1 was significantly higher in CRS-NP in comparison to CRS patients as showed in Figure 1a. This evidence concerns the gene CYSLTR1 and congenital rubella syndrome.
