TP53 and neoplasm: A positive correlation was found between protein expression of p53 and p21 (rs=0.27, P=0.005) as well as between p53 and Mdm-2 (rs=0.27, P=0.004) When the frequency of p53 positivity was compared between small/intermediate tumours and large tumours, the amount of cells staining positive for p53 was found to be significantly higher in large tumours (P=0.018).
