IGF1 and Testicular atrophy: The values of PHGPx, an antioxidant enzyme, showed a significant increase in the AT+IGF group with regard to untreated animals with testicular atrophy (CO: 6 ± 0.2 IU/mg of protein; AT: 5 ± 0.3 IU/mg of protein; AT+IGF: 8 ± 0.7 IU/mg of protein), showing an antioxidant effect of IGF-I therapy on testes.
