Immunohistochemical analysis also suggests that the genes that facilitate the transmigration and reverse transmigration (CD31 and CD142) of dendritic cells are upregulated in blood vessels of both juvenile (Fig. 5 upper panels) and adult DM patients (data not shown) and DC-LAMP positive dendritic cells in close proximity to CD31 positive blood vessels (Fig. 5 lower panels).
