On the other hand, phosphorylation of AKT on S473 is less frequent (34.8%) and weaker in intensity in the invasive breast carcinomas (Tables 2 and 3, Figure 2) than AKT on T308 (80.9%) or PDK-1 (80.9%), suggesting that phosphorylation of former residues was less frequently detected than later ones in the invasive breast tumours. Here, AKT1 is linked to invasive breast carcinoma.
