Interestingly, we have shown the phosphorylation of AKT on T308 resembled well with that of PDK-1 in breast cancer (Tables 2 and 3, Figures 1 and 2), which agreed with other results demonstrating residue T308 of AKT was directly phosphorylated by PDK-1 (Alessi et al, 1997; Wick et al, 2000b; Williams et al, 2000). Here, PDK1 is linked to breast carcinoma.
