After treated/untreated with FAK siRNA or control siRNA, pancreatic cancer cells were incubated with/without anti-β1 integrin antibody for 24 h, and then terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nick end labeling (TUNEL) assay was performed to investigate whether knockdown of FAK expression and β1 integrin blocking had any effects on pancreatic cancer apoptosis. This evidence concerns the gene PTK2 and pancreatic neoplasm.
