While 15 (75.0%) in the 20 HER-2-positive patients had metastatic lymph nodes, 22 (47.8%) in the 46 HER-2-negative patients had metastatic lymph nodes (Table 3), indicating that there was a high frequency of lymph node metastasis in the HER-2-positive patients in comparison to HER-2-negative patients (P<0.05, χ2 analysis). Here, ERBB2 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
