Increasing evidence has shown that the overexpression of EGFR closely correlates with advanced tumour stage and metastasis, and poor clinical outcome in many human cancers including breast, cervix, lung, bladder, and head and neck (Iihara et al, 1993; Hu et al, 1997; Grandis et al, 1998; Brabender et al, 2001; Arteaga and Truica, 2004).
