We compared the death effect of two cell lines (BC-M1 and the estrogen-receptor-positive cell line MCF-7) induced by AZ-1, and also compared the cytotoxicity of AZ-1 with two clinical anti-breast cancer therapies, tamoxifen (aromatase inhibitors) and paclitaxel, in the cell viability of BC-M1 cells. This evidence concerns the gene CYP19A1 and breast carcinoma.
