We have demonstrated the clinical significance of ERBB2 expression in ovarian carcinoma patients, that is, associations with PS and DFS, using a novel approach to the analysis that included: (1) evaluation in subgroups determined by TP53 status, (2) broader criteria for ERBB2 positivity and (3) a combined end-result from two monoclonal antibodies that identified the external and internal domains of ERBB2. Here, ERBB2 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
