We have shown that diverse rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoarthritis (OA) [8-12], diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH) [12,13] and hypermobility syndrome [14] as well as fibromyalgia [15] were characterized, in part, by elevated serum growth hormone levels. Here, GH1 is linked to diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis.
