We analysed the data from Armstrong et al with respect to the detection of differential expression between ALL and MLL (after removal of the 28 AML patients) and with respect to the detection of differential expression between MLL and AML (after removal of the 24 ALL patients) and compared this with the results from the previous section with respect to the detection of differential expression between ALL and AML on the same data set. The gene discussed is KMT2A; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
