BRINP1 and urinary bladder carcinoma: Hypermethylation of the DBCCR1 gene as well as LOH and homozygous deletions at the DBCCR1 locus have been shown to be frequent events in bladder cancer (Fujiwara et al, 2001; Habuchi et al, 1998, 2001; Nishiyama et al, 1999).
