MKI67 and neoplasm: Kaern et al (1990) and Padberg et al (1991) have correlated DNA aneuploidy with increased tumour progression and shortened patient survival time. In the present study, high Ki-67 LI was significantly associated with tumour progression. Proliferative activity assessed by Ki-67 LI was significantly correlated with DNA aneuploidy in ovarian neoplasm (Huettner et al, 1992).
