To further probe c-Src's role in the behaviour of colon cancer cells from the Fidler model, we used a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (PP2) that is able to suppress c-Src autophosphorylation on tyrosine-416, presumably reflecting suppression of c-Src activity, and examined the effects of short-term PP2 treatment of KM12L4A metastatic cells. Here, SRC is linked to malignant colon neoplasm.
