The 5-year survival rates of patients with high-tumour-survivin/GAPDH ratio (with adjuvant therapy, n=8, 0%; without adjuvant therapy, n=9, 22.2%) were significantly poorer than those of patients with low-tumour-survivin/GAPDH ratio (with adjuvant therapy, n=28, 40.1%, P=0.0014; without adjuvant therapy, n=8, 72.9%, P=0.0253). This evidence concerns the gene BIRC5 and neoplasm.
