ESR1 and neoplasm: Some clinical and biologic factors (nodal, status, age, stage, estrogens receptor, tumour size) have been analysed for the potential predictive significance of complete histologic clearance from both the breast and axillary lymph nodes after primary chemotherapy (Kuerer et al, 1999); patients with a pCR had initial tumours that were more likely to be oestrogens receptor-negative and anaplastic but of smaller size than those of patients with less than a pCR.
